How does the Free Trial work?

Simple. Once you complete sign up, your credit card will not be charged until after the free trial period has expired. You can cancel anytime before or after the free trial period expires by simply visiting your Member Center. If you cancel before the free trial period expires your credit card will not be charged anything. Only one free trial per account is allowed. The free trial offer will not be available in the two week periods before and after each portfolio rebalancing date.

Can I take advantage of the Free Trial even if I am a Basic Member?

Absolutely, here is how it works:

• Once you sign up for the free trial, your membership will be credited with the remaining, prorated amount on your subscription.
• If you complete the trial and become a Full Member then a new billing period starts and your credit is applied to the payment that occurs at that point.
• If you revert back to Basic membership from the Free Trial, a new billing period starts and your credit is applied to the payment that occurs at that point.
• If you decide you want to cancel all paid membership levels, you forfeit your credit.

I’ve signed up for Guest Pass membership, now what?

As a Guest Pass member you can access the Top 3 Holdings clone for any individual fund manager. Once you see a clone you like, click on the Track This Clone button to save the clone to the “Your Tracked Clones” list.

What’s the difference between Guest Pass, Basic Membership and Full Membership?

• Guest Pass Members get:
  • Access to the Top 3 Holdings clone strategy for any individual fund
  • Ability to track clones for which they have access

• Basic Members get:
  • Access to any clone for any individual fund (i.e. Berkshire, Lone Pine Capital)
  • Access to the Tiger Cubs fund group
  • Real time 13G/13D email alerts
  • Access to historical holdings for any fund manager
  • Ability to track clones

• Full Members get:
  • All Basic Member features, plus:
  • Access to all AlphaClone pre-set fund groups (e.g., Value Masters, Activist Masters, Sector Picks, International, exc)
  • Ability to custom create and clone your own fund groups (as many as you like)

How do I change membership levels, cancel my service or update my credit card information?

Simply sign in and click on the “Your Membership” link at the very top of every page. The link takes you to your Member Center where you’ll be able to upgrade/downgrade your membership level and edit your personal and billing information. If you want to cancel a paid membership level, simply downgrade to our Guest Pass level which is free – no need to call or send an email – isn’t that refreshing?

Once signed up, how do I get support?

Simply click on the “Customer Support” link found in the help section at the bottom of each page and send us a message using the form we’ve provided. We strive to solve all support requests within eight business hours (PT, Pacific Time).

Which browser platforms are supported?

We are continuously testing on Internet Explorer (v7 & v8) for PC, Firefox (v2 & v3) for both PC and Mac, and Safari (v3 and v4) for Mac. We recommend Firefox 3. We currently do not test on Internet Explorer (v6).

Do I need to provide my credit card details to access clones?

No you don’t. Just fill out the short and simple registration form to gain access to our free sample clones. You’ll be able to customize and track free clones just like on the paid service. When you’re ready to upgrade to paid status, just simply click on the “Join Now” button and give us your credit card details. It’s that easy.
